Style Icon: Oscar de la Renta
I was very sad to read that Oscar de la Renta passed away tonight. He was an inspiring designer with a rare talent for crafting formalwear, mixing color and silhouette and embellishment in ways that managed to be interesting and creative but not over-the-top or tacky. He made design seem effortless. He was one of the greats. Respect is due.
