Old Favorite: "Once Again" by Handsome Boy Modeling School
In 1999, Prince Paul and Dan the Automator assumed the roles of Chest Rockwell and Nathaniel Merriweather, the headmasters of the Handsome Boy Modeling School. They worked with many guests, ahem, students, giving their music a lot of variation and also meaning that some songs I have to skip because, well, sometimes their choices were not to my tastes. Cough (Linkin Park) cough.
This song features Grand Puba and Sadat X of Brand Nubian and a wicked sample of Three Dog Night's "Old Fashioned Love Song." It's easily my favorite Handsome Boy Modeling School track. Despite the image used in the video, it's actually from their first album "So... How's Your Girl?"
