Le Son Français
(The French Sound)
Three black and white sportswear looks inspired by a recent interest in French dance music. White button-down blouse embellished with jet crystals and removeable bow at neck, slim cropped tuxedo pants; black satin baseball jacket, white tee with hand-painted black stripes, full black mini skirt, and hand painted striped white knee socks; white dress with fringed gold epaulettes, and grey lace-knit over the knee socks.
Seastruck
Two softbody bridal gowns inspired by Gerhard Richter's Seestuck photo series, unstructured and packable, ideal for destination weddings. V-neck and back gown in double-faced silk charmeuse with twisted drape into the waistline to flatter and hide figure flaws; strapless charmeuse gown with removeable sheer paisley organza overshirt with cold shoulders and taupe velvet ribbon tie at waist.
Short and Sweet
Two short ivory ensembles, perfect for getaways and casual bridal looks. Sheer silk organza blouse with lace appliqué "stripes" and "something blue" bow tie at collar over a china silk tank, tucked into a silk twill circle skirt; cap sleeved silk twill A-Line dress with lace appliqué bands of varying widths and sheer scalloped hem.
Aviary Accessories
Selections from a small collection of one-of-a-kind accessories made from vintage and discarded materials. Large white silk satin-faced organza bow headband; vintage crystal and white flower post earrings; ivory silk taffeta floral headband, purple chantilly lace over pink grosgrain headband. Modeled by Karin Angstam of Wilhelmena.

Miscellaneous examples of graphic design work for bridal designer Judd Waddell. Includes 3 styles of bridal market invitations, a postcard, a single fold, and a triptych, as well as pages from a swatch book for retailers.
Web Design
Two commissioned websites. harveycohencreative.com was built from scratch using Dreamweaver, and all images were scanned from large-scale hard copies and Photoshopped together to look seamless. All video had to be ripped from DVD, edited, and embedded. Michaelangelola was a personal wedding website hosted by Wordpress and featuring many photo collages.
Divine Plumage
Illustrations and technical drawings of sixteen cocktail dresses inspired by Greek Goddesses. Hera group made in peacock feather print beaded silk with teal duchess satin accents; Aphrodite group made in light pink duchess satin and shades of pink silk chiffon; Athena group made in army green silk charmeuse with gold crepe back satin accents and metallic gold mesh overlay with gold sequins; Persephone group made in pleated purple silk shantung with black duchess satin accents.
Drawing Machine
(red/black)
A series of sequential paintings. Acrylic paint suspended in starch and moved at random by small moving machines, dipping paper on the surface at regularly timed intervals, to create unplanned abstractions.

Two works in powdered graphite. "Listen" and "Self Portrait in Graphite," created by pressing my mouth/body against paper.
